### Site Map
The map below shows the materials we recycle and where their containers are located on the site. This can help you pack your car for easy unloading. We recommend sorting and separating your items at home before you visit. For example, if you have textiles, you may want to place them on top as the textiles container is one of the first you will pass. If you have batteries, you may want to place them at the bottom of your load as that container is one of the last you will reach.
### Site staff
All staff working on site have received Autism training and will be ready to assist and answer any questions you may have.
### Quiet times to visit
If you would like to visit at a quieter time we recommend visiting during the week either early morning or late afternoon/evening. Please note, we close at 5pm during 1st October - 31st March and have an extended opening until 8pm during 1st April - 30th September.

### Parking
As you drive around site you will see road markings which instruct where cars can drive “pass” and where cars can park to unload goods. You are welcome to park in any available “park” area to unload your waste for recycling.
### Entrance and Exit
When you arrive you will see the entrance to enter the site.
Once you have driven around the site you will exit onto the same road you entered.
**Getting here and arrival**
### Waste Compactor
You will be visiting an operational site which will have materials entering and leaving site. It can sometimes be a noisy environment. Here we have a collection of sounds you may hear.
**Waste Compactor**
Site staff may turn this equipment on while you are visiting. The Waste Compactor makes noise as it compresses material to allow residents space to fill the container with more items.
### Items dropping into a container
On site visitors will be dropping their waste into marked metal containers. This can sometimes make a loud noise.
### Train passing nearby
The site is next to a railway line which can be easily viewed whilst visiting. This may mean that as trains pass there is a noise.
